Our team member served as a Project Manager and Financial Systems Engineers on this USAID funded project to assist the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in the commercialization and management of the Kabul Electricity Directorate and the newly formed national electricity utility, Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS). The project commercialized electricity
distribution services in Kabul and built the capacity of DABS to operate on a full cost-recovery basis. Our team worked closely with the project’s Financial, IT and HR Advisors in training, organizing and setting up and implementing systems for the Finance and HR Departments of the Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS). Our team member implemented Dynamics GP for the utility and its 34 Hubs (Branches), devolved a module to translate the system to Dari. The system assisted DABS to migrate from a manual system of using Excel spreadsheets to an integrated, computarized ERP and billing system.

The following modules were implemented Accounts receivable, accounts payable, purchase order processing, general ledger, human resources, and payroll. Our team member trained over 50 users and facilitated certification of five super users on Microsoft Dynamics.
